About Oleo

 

Oleo Bodycare is a new and affordable range of simple, effective bodycare products.

They are handmade by Professional Aromatherapist, Olivia Chapman.  A member of IFPA (International Federation of Professional Aromatherapists), she qualified at the renowned Institute of Traditional Herbal Medicine & Aromatherapy, and is passionate about her subject.  Olivia is also a fully qualified massage therapist and has a 1st class honours degree in Health Science.  With this experience and knowledge contained in each Oleo product, you can rest assured that your body will be receiving the best possible care.

The entire Oleo Bodycare range is created, manufactured and packaged at our workshop in Bridport, Dorset. 

We firmly believe that our formulations must benefit mind, body and wellbeing, using high quality essential oils, herbs, vegetable oils and extracts. 

Sixty per cent of what you put on your skin ends up in your blood stream. That is why at Oleo Bodycare we are just as concerned as to what does not go into our products.  As nature provides an abundance of safe, therapeutic ingredients, we see no reason to use anything synthetic or potentially harmful.

We never use:-

• Parabens (preservatives) – can cause allergic reactions and linked to oestrogen overproduction.  Instead we use natural ingredients with preservative properties
• Synthetic fragrances – often associated with allergic reactions.  Instead we use 100% pure essential oils – for their wonderful aromas and therapeutic properties
• Synthetic colours – often associated with allergic reactions.  If we want additional colour, we use natural therapeutic oils such as avocado, carrot or calendula
• Mineral oils – derived from petroleum, and can block the skin.  Instead we use plant-based oils – rich in vitamins and essential fatty acids to help improve the skin’s condition
• Sodium lauryl sulphate (SLS) – a synthetic detergent and possible skin irritant.  Instead we use plant-based detergents that are effective and gentle on the skin

None of the Oleo products or their ingredients have been tested on animals

Oleo Bodycare is attractively packaged in brown recyclable glass to protect the vital properties of the ingredients and with clear, no-nonsense labelling.
