 ABOUT OLIVIA AND YOUR MASSAGE

Olivia practices Aromatherapy Massage, by appointment, from a comfortable and relaxing therapy room at her home in Bridport, Dorset. 

The first session includes a consultation about your lifestyle, sleep patterns, diet, medical history and the general state of your physical and psychological health.  This helps her to blend oils to your particular emotional and physical requirements, and decide which specific massage techniques to use.  The highest quality essential and carrier oils are used.  Oils used in the treatment are given to you to take home and use accordingly.  Music is used as a background aid to promote relaxation, but this is your choice.

Olivia originally studied Anatomy, Physiology and Massage at Yeovil College, and gradutated with Merit in 1999.  This interest in health led her to study Health Science at Bournemouth University, achieving a 1st class honours degree in 2003.  She then qualified in Holistic Clinical Aromatherapy and Therapeutic Massage (with Distinction) from the renowned Institute of Traditional Herbal Medicine & Aromatherapy (ITHMA) in London.  She is a member of the International Federation of Professional Aromatherapists (IFPA).

"My intention is always to respect my clients' wishes and listen to their concerns, thereby devising a treatment plan according to their needs.  I frequently attend courses to enhance my therapeutic skills and to provide a better service to my clients".
