Geranium (pelargonium graveolens) has a rosy-sweet, lemon and mint smell and works as both a tonic and sedative on the nervous system.

The essential oil is extracted from the fresh flowers, stalks and leaves of the perennial shrub. 

It has a rosy-sweet, lemon and mint smell and works as both a tonic and sedative on the nervous system.  It is mildly antiseptic and a good skin soother.

In aromatherapy, it is one of the most important oils - perfect to put you in a good mood, send you to sleep, give you energy or relax you totally.  It is good for custs, bruises, eczema, burns, acne and mature or dry skin.

How to use:

Bath & Shower

The essential oil is inhaled through the aromatic steam, as well as being absorbed by the skin.  Add up to 5 drops in 2 tbsp bath oil, shower gel, or carrier oil.

Inhalation

This will help to clear your head and nose. Add 4–6 drops to a bowl of steaming water, place a towel over your head and breathe.

Massages

Balances your body and mind while helping to soothe aching muscles. Use up to 15 drops in 2 tbsp of base oil. use up to 6 drops in 2 tbsp of base oil.  

Diffusers & Burners

A natural air freshener, this technique creates a balancing ambiance and mood. For adults, add 1–3 drops in a diffuser or burner.
